I just got a call from the loan officer's assistant for my refinance. All they need is for me to explain 2 addresses and a commercial business at this current address.
The first address was that of the bank my mother used - in Charleston, SC. Mom died a half dozen years ago.
The second address was of an apartment I lived in in Norwalk, CT 30 years ago. They did not ask about any of the 5 places I've lived since then.
Oh and I live in a condo. This address is shared by probably 10 commercial businesses.
That was it. That's all they needed. She looked long and hard and finally said "I've never seen an application this simple. Wow"
