Actually, not so much fail as just not success, I think. But my swim class was a success. I was sore and out of breath and wheezy when I got there and about half way into the class I realized that I was breathing much much better and felt a whole lot better all around. I love that class.

Then off to brunch. There is seriously no good place for breakfast on Saturday morning anywhere near that pool. It is so weird. Today, I went to one not near it at all and it was not a winner. The wait was long the service was ok and the food was not as good.

So on to my errands. The first was a success. I wanted a long handled something that will enable me to put lotion on my back. Found the perfect thing at bed bath and b for $6. And then it was pretty much downhill from there...

I went to Lane Bryant as planned. No bra for me. The cutest, nicest, sweetest girl waited on me. She was just as good as she could be but, honestly, my body is not bra worthy. It's too fat with boobs that are too small. They do not make my size. But, I tried on a biscillion and pretty soon wondered if the problem I was trying to solve really needed solving. I decided it did not. The girls remain free. The end.

On to high end pet store to get dry food. I went to high end store in hopes of getting high end advice. I got a guy who was so not interested in helping me and provided me with less info than I could have gotten just reading the little price signs. I don't have to go back there.

All the while my cough is kind of back and now I have stomach cramps (a little, not much) so it's really time to go home only there's no way to get there from where I was between highways closed and Saturday traffic and a university football game... I picked a route that I thought would work and it almost did except an exit was closed and I had to go about 7 miles out of my way but at least it was a moving 7 miles and not a sitting in traffic at a dead stop 7 miles.

I did stop in Whole Foods because it was right in the path to home. I wanted some soup and I needed bread. I found both and then grabbed a sandwich (bad idea - horrible sandwich - 7/11 or am/pm has much better)... While I was standing in line I saw a cute little pecan tart that looked fairly yummy so I added it to the mix. The cashier was slow as Christmas so I was looking at the tart label and saw that it was $9! NFW! It was not that cute! Back it went. So glad I looked.

I'm home now and glad to be here. Now I have one finger joint that is really hurting. WTF? Am I just falling right the fuck apart on this very day?

I'm going to put my feet up and chill out until I get tired of chilling out. Happily there is nowhere in the world I need to go or be.

Some days just go like that don't they. I like to remember the Jimmy Buffett quote "Breathe In, Breathe Out, Move On".

Have you tried a bra boutique? Places like Lane Bryant are still too mainstream to know what they are doing.

Royal Canin and Hill's Science Diet are good cat foods. My cats get Purina One because they are used it. They all have more nutrients than Meow Mix and the like. My brother-in-law (aka the best vet ever) said the grocery store foods are basically Doritos for pets. They have to eats lots to get the nutrients they need. When my kitty Spike was losing weight from age I would mix the crap with calories in with the good stuff so she'd eat it.
