So, the inhaler and I are still not seeing mist to lungs successfully. But, we'll try again in 6 hours.

I woke up several times coughing last night but none were bad enough to get up and try that cough medicine. 'One more spasm and I'll get up... zzzzz' But, this morning I hit a patch and decided to give it a go. OMG is it ever nasty. It's high powered stuff but so disgusting.

I would be such a failure as a drug addict.

At least the cough medicine seems to have helped.

I had some work work to do this morning and just finished it up. Chef Anita is working away in the kitchen.

I have no sent the third email to Citimortgage asking for status and confirmation they are not waiting on me for anything. What started out as a slick as canola oil process has turn into a pile o' lard. Apparently my loan is being refinanced - I can see it is 'in progress' on their website, but I am not privy to nor can I seen to find out what the next steps are or when. Can't wait to get this survey.

I have swim class at noon and really don't see any reason not to go. So far, swimming has made my breathing easier. And Cute Doctor did not mention one thing about not doing stuff (or really doing stuff other than taking his medicine and calling him in a week) so I'm going.

Plus, it's bear delivery day so I'll drop them off first, then go the pool, then sit in my car for the conference call, then home.

having just come out of this industry recently (laid off from B of A in Sept) I can tell you with confidence, that there's probably a backlog of refinances that are waiting for an underwriter to review them.

Processors are plenty, Underwriters are not, which is why your loan got all of the busy-ness done in the beginning (processor's job), but then it gets in line for an underwriter... and you wait. They're not fucking off, or playing kickball with your file, it's likely in a pile on someone's desk. In 'the business' purchase transactions take priority over refinances, and purchases generally have tighter deadlines and commitments. Since the end of the month was just yesterday and most purchases started in early Oct likely closed/funded yesterday, I would wager that your loan will be looked at sooner than later.

I hope your sickness passes soon too - I'm prone to walking pneumonia as well, no sinus or bronchial infections, just goes straight to jail, does not pass go OR collect $200, parks it's ass in my lungs and a good solid week of antibiotics does the trick to rid me of it for another 18 - 24 mos.

Next Friday is a holiday, and 10 days after that is Thanksgiving. I'd recommend calling mid-late next week to get a status from your 'contacts' and see if they won't commit to this being done by the end of the month, even considering the holiday(s).

If you want to play dirty, tell them you'll be out of town (pick a date range that is on or near the end of the month) and tell them you expect to sign before you leave.. that usually gets action.

Bottom line; friendly, but stern. It works. (yours should be a easy loan to handle, not unrealistic for you to expect it to be done by the end of this month.)

Good luck.

If you are having issues.....someone with long and stable history and in good standing, then you can only imagine what the rest of the world must be like. Losing info, request same info for umpteenth time, teeny boppers or non english speaking "help line' personnel to get you more confused than ever.....in addition to out and out lies, corruption, unethical and illegal practices. But I'm not bitter.
