All Points Bulletin for Tulips
Aug. 24th, 2003 11:19 am
tabbarama remembers a "gorgeous photo of red and yellow tulips" and actually I kind of do, too. I know the photo wasn't mine. Ring a bell with anyone? I smell a new puzzle if I can land the photo!
Costco and back. Easy peasy. Except they changed my coffee, the scoundrals! Pleasant Hill regular. I think all that's new is the wrapper. If I have to break in a new coffee at my age, it isn't going to be pleasant. Also go bacon, eggs and steaks. And, got out for under $50. I didn't think you could leave Costco having spent under $50. Amazing.
Couch time now... Maybe a little Sex in the City. Maybe a little Touch of Frost. Maybe a few West Wing reruns... who knows?
Now, let's find that tulip photo - oh and
vwaffle's St. George Street artist one is really a great puzzle! It's hard enough and easy enough. Thanks, Van!

it's a scam!

Two things I regret:
Date: 2003-08-24 07:16 pm (UTC)2. that I have never taken any photos worthy of a puzzle
But now you have spurred me on. Hopefully someday I will do something worthy. I love the pics you used.
Re: Two things I regret:
Date: 2003-08-24 07:22 pm (UTC)Remember your egg tablecloth??!!! FABULOUS puzzle fodder! Ok if I use?
I am sorry about the mac thing. That does suck.
Re: Two things I regret:
Date: 2003-08-24 07:27 pm (UTC)I take it that 72 dpi is the setting I shoul use?
Re: Two things I regret:
Date: 2003-08-24 07:43 pm (UTC)Forget DPIs (you only need those when you are printing)...
It's pixels baby pixels! The eggs are 676 pixels wide by 507 pixels tall and that's a good puzzle size. (It's always easier to shrink than to grow digital pix.) If it looks good on the screen that's the only thing to worry about.
I had to blow up this egg pic for my wallpaper and it lost some of it's depth. I'd forgotten how wonderful the original is! Wow. It's got the marbels all beat to hell.
Pretty far from tulips...
