Whew. Day is done.

susandennisI started at 5:45 this morning and it's now 4:45 and I'm cuttin' off. I did take off an hour for swimming and and 30 minutes for Sheri so it's not like the salt mines. But, my head has had enough work for today. I'll dig back in early tomorrow morning.
Sheri has made a good start. This will be a s l o w process but I know that and I'm willing to ride along. She came up with a rather lovely - slick and streamlined - way to organize the stuff and get more room and add a big girl table. I love it when people say 'you'll be able to have a dinner party'. That will happen in the year ... never. But, what fun to have a big table to spread shit out on - like my sewing machine and projects!
We're taking the monitors off the desk and mounting them on the wall. There will be shelves behind doors. 6 drawers of different depths. A rollout thingie for my printer.
And lights. My living room is dark. Really dark. And it will be dark no more.
Next up is finishes and costs estimates and she's going to England for a week and a half so I'm thinking it will be January before we even do anything else.

Meanwhile, the refi is ready to close. Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm hoping for Tuesday. I want to get that sucker in the rear view mirror.

My horrible cough is gone for sure, but I still don't have my breath back. I noticed that carrying on a conversation with Sheri wasn't all that easy. I kept having to clear my throat. I'm actually kind of tired of this shit.
But now, I'm going to ignore it and enjoy an evening of TV and bear knitting.
