I think I got hoodwinked

susandennisI took that prednizone until Monday. Sunday and Monday and Tuesday I felt way better. Wednesday not so much and today, I could barely swim for coughing. Phuque. After swimming I felt my usual better but while I was swimming I could not get enough air to feel comfortable.
Now I'm ok unless a coughing fit hits and then I'm not ok. grrrrrr. So, what I'm thinking now is that I am going to pay attention and take notes. I have that horrible cough syrup - probably another 5 days or so. And the inhaler which has lots and lots of days. Assuming I don't get worse, I'm just going to wait it out.
If I do get worse and/or when I cannot stand it another minute, I'll go back to the doctor again. buggers.
On the up side, work is good and fun. I'm enjoying it and gathering some nice billable hours.
Another person just called about my mortgage. Random Questions After The Fact R Us.
She wanted to know my marital status. I told her I was divorced and she got all wound up and started to break. She wanted documentation. I told her that I not only did not have anything to prove I was ever divorced, I don't even have anything to prove I was ever married. Poor thing she was crumbling ... I could hear the pieces break off. Then I cut her a break... I said 'It will take some time to gather 30 year old information.' 'Wait, what? You mean your divorce was before you bought your current house?' 'oh my yes. I've been divorced 30 years and only bought this house 20 years ago.'
And the healing started immediately. 'That's all I needed to know, thank you!'
