Choke point

susandennisI did pretty well yesterday - not really coughing too much and breathing fairly well. When I walked up the street to the bakery, I had to stop once to catch my breath but then, when I slowed now my pace, I didn't have to stop again. Until it hit 10pm. I had a huge nearly hour long coughing fit. And if that wasn't enough, I got my first bloody nose of the season.
I dragged out the humidifier. It's such a PIA but it does help keep blood in my nose over the winter. I had a little bit of trouble getting to sleep. Between the wheezing and the coughing and the cats coming and going... but finally I managed it and only woke up a couple of times.
This morning was another small coughing fit when I first got out of bed but it seems to be gone now and I actually am breathing fairly well as long as I don't move much. I have to clear my throat a million times but that's ok.
If I can manage no fits in the next half hour I am going to the pool. I'll do what I can in class. The pools are closed Thursday and Friday so I really don't want to skip today and while it may be psychosomatic but I always do feel batter after.
I need to make a quick grocery stop but that's really it for plans for today. There is an arts show I'd like to go to but it's kind of a pain in the ass to get to and I'm not sure I have the stamina right now to get there and get back and enjoy it in between. Plus, I have work to do so I think I'll stay home and earn money instead of wear myself out and spend it.
Oh wait, I might try and get my hair cut on the way home from the pool. If I remember!
There is snow talk in the weather forecasts, not so much in the sky or ground. I'm ready.
So far so good on the no coughing so I'm getting into my swim suit.
