I'm packin' ... drugs that is. I've got antibiotics, prednizone pills and prenizone inhaler. And I got a treatment in the doctor's office that actually did make me feel better. An x-ray showed clear and fine. So he thinks now my cough is causing my cough and the cough is robbing me of the air. So I need to stop coughing. And this shit's all going to make that happen. I got back in 2 weeks, cured.

Or, if not, the next stop will be the allergy/asthma specialist. And I sure don't want that.

So this shit's going to work.

Dr. johncomic predicted the cough causing the cough thing. And other comments gave me all kinds of good questions to ask. Cute doctor tried to blame it on the cats but since there's been no change in the cat situation in the past 5 years, that's not likely. I did ask him about the pool and the chemicals and he asked me if I was in a jacuzzi or spa or sauna and I said no and he said the pool alone wouldn't account for any issues. WHEW.

I really am honestly hopeful. And I'm really tired of paying $35 for every visit - this guy is not a cheap date. And the parking went up a dollar since last week! So far this crud has cost me about $400. Thank goodness I have insurance.

Yeah, copays get old.

And honestly? Asthma sucks, but it too can be managed and managed well.

Hopefully, though, that won't be what it is - hopefully you just need the stuff you have now and you'll be better soon. :)

You should be very satisfied. If you had not spelled it out for me, I'm not sure I would have grasp what the doctor was telling me as his description was kind of convoluted. So I was able to ask him - 'so the cough is causing the cough?' and he said 'exactly!'

You should go buy a white coat and stethoscope, if only for appearances.
