Now that I know the coughing is causing the coughing, I'm on major cough suppression patrol and so far so good. I keep water by my side and if a cough is coming, I drink it down. I was even able to do this last night. I woke up a couple of times and instead of coughing myself awake for 30 minutes, I sipped water and managed to stop the fit and get right back to sleep. Why in the heck didn't I think of this on my own??!! Oh well, at least I got good sleep.

I think I might skip swimming today. I hate to because I suspect the class might be really small and that's always more fun plus I don't want Montrel to feel abandoned. But, I can't really control my cough while swimming. I've got some time - about 5 hours - to decide for sure.

Best I can figure out, I have my refinance loan closing at 2:30 today - IF the notary public got her mapquest printed out and finds the place. The idiot loan guy said that he would call me yesterday to go over the loan package he was sending. No call and the only 'package' I got was the 4th copy of the Good Faith Estimate. I've gotten it via email twice and snail mail once and FedEx mail once. It's been exactly the same every single time.

I'll be glad to get this thing done. These people are really idiots.

But, Discover card people are NOT idiots. The only credit card I use is Discover. I check it every morning. It generally takes 3-5 days for a transaction to hit the account so I keep a manual list of charges until they show up there. But now they have added a feature to do that for me. They have started listing pending transactions immediately. This morning the charges I made at the doctor's and the pharmacy last night are in the pending list. Cool. Thanks, Discover. You really are the best.
