While rushing to finish something this weekend, I hosed IE on my work computer. I got it back and thought it would right itself with time but I was wrong. It just ate a page I had finished so I give in. And now, I'm rebooting. Since there were issues, it is taking for.freakin'.ever to finish 'shutting down'. Looks like I'll have plenty of time for a journal entry.
I slept well and didn't wake until the alarm went off. I didn't linger in bed but got up and got to work and I'm glad I did. This batch of 100+ pages, as it turns out, has one section that is overwhelmingly fiddly. I didn't hit that section until this morning - good timing. Stuff like that, when I'm tired or bored or not ready is just doomed.
I'll get it all done before swimming today and all will be fine. At least that's the plan.
I started on a new inhaler this morning - Flovent. My Mom's last years were spent working for breath. She used inhalers. She'd suck 'em in and then rinse out her mouth and spit into a cup. She always kept a water glass and a spit cup near. It was disgusting. With this Flovent, after using, I have to rinse out my mouth and spit. At least I am going to do it in the sink. Spit cups, not for me. Ugh.
Yesterday, I did not feel great. My cough came back a little and I was even wheezing again a little last night. But, today is much better again. Weird and weary I am of this whole thing.
I am going to the pool today. No class so I can just do my own thing. I am looking forward to it.
I have a day full of work and swim. Sounds like a good day to me!
