I'm a victim of me

I had steak and risotto for dinner tonight. I lightly burned my knuckles flavoring the steak. Then, completely forgetting the lid handle is NOT insulated, I burned my fingertips on the pan lid.

Then I sat down to knit. I keep my stuffing in an ottoman next to my chair. I reached into the ottoman to get stuffing for the head and the fucking lid slammed down on my hand. And, by the way, that hurt like a sumbitch. I cleaned it off and put on some antibiotic cream and put a bandaid on it. The bandaid wouldn't stay on and then I realized it had turned into a giant mound of bruise on my hand.

Now I have to go find a bigger bandaid. Travis just bumped it and OWIE!

I now have it wrapped in a ice bandage thing and it makes it feel so much better! I would have never thought of that so thank you. I'm holding off the knitting for a bit and having cookies instead.

Ouch - looks terrible! I'm glad to hear though in one of your other entries that your breathing is doing better...
