This morning's paper had an obituary of a guy who dropped dead at 52. One of his (obviously much younger) relatives said 'it's not like he was a young man, he had a good long life'.

So it occurs to me that at age 53, I am now too old to die young. Oh well, it was never one of my goals anyway.
