SOOO glad to be home

Man and wife are sitting there watching TV. Wife says, "Would you like some ice cream?"
"Wow, that sounds great."
"OK, I'll get it." Wife gets up and starts to go to the kitchen.
Husband says, "Hey, don't forget the whip cream!"
She stops, "Yes, dear, I'll remember the whip cream." And starts back to the kitchen.
"Wait," he says, "Don't forget the nuts. You always forget the nuts."
"Yes, dear, I'll remember the nuts."
"And the cherry. Don't forget the cherry!"
"Yesss, dear. I'll remember the cherry."
Wife comes back 10 minutes later with a sandwich.
Husband: "You forgot. I said I wanted it toasted!"
I love my Mom but a week in Retirement Land just about does me in. Plus traveling across country and back to a place that is way too hot and humid didn't help. I was never happier to get home to my quiet house and my wonderful cat than I was last night.
