Mornings...

susandennisI have always been a morning person. A real morning person. I love the early hours and am at my most productive. After 3 p.m. I'm totally hit and miss on sharp thinking and error free work of any kind. It takes me twice as long to get anything done in the afternoon and three times longer in the evening. I'm the first person into work - no matter where I work. I used to be the first person to get to school.
Jake is not a morning cat. He generally gets up with me but within minutes he's back in bed until noon.
Betty, however, is a morning cat for sure. After 3, she's in her closet. But, this morning, for example, she's all over the place busy as a bee. She's had all the toys out throwing them around and catching them. She's in my face. Now she's roaming around checking out varous things.. She's in places I've never seen her go before. And she shows no signs of slowing down before lunch. She's cracking me up.
Even Jake has postponed his morning nap to watch. He's on the ottoman - still as a stone - watching her every move. What fun to have Saturday morning entertainment.
