More Domain Name Adventures

susandennisSo I killed another three hours today on Domain Name Adventures... I have made progress but I'm not there yet. Today's adventure involved a solid two hours on the phone with register.com - most of it on hold.

kimatha's journal that it's been a year since the day she met her boyfriend (with whom she now lives). So, while I was on hold, I went back a year in her journal and read the whole story. It's kind of cool. They met after he posted a comment to one of her LJ entries! She picked up and moved from Seattle to Florida where they are now happily ensconced. It sure made being on hold a lot more palatable.
Plus, I finally won a major battle with register.com - I got a support guy to agree that what they were requiring me to do made zero sense. They have really good phone support and really horrible everything else. Kind of strange for a domain name registration service. You'd think they would have a killer website and coherent email support - not so.
