susandennisI'm still in the middle of this amazing novel that centers around a major U.S. airlines which is going down hill in terms of customer service.
It reminded me to make my airline reservations to go see Mom at Thanksgiving. She very generously offered me frequent flyer miles so I had to call instead of buying online like I usually do. I had to talk to two people, two different times at US Air and, honestly, they both just knocked themselves out to make me a happy customer and, heck, it's free to me so I was already happy. But, I did get the flights I wanted. I have to stay a couple of days longer than I like but Mom likes a full week of me and it is her nickel so what the heck. At least, hopefully, by November, it won't be broiling in South Carolina.
My manager just came buy to remind me that the Mariners game starts early today so I'd better get home now to be there for the first pitch. How can you gripe about a manager like that????
