"Front Yard Update"

susandennisThe parade stuff is getting organized. There are trucks and busses gathering down here. The parade starts up by the Space Needle and I suspect that there are a lot of floats and people up there.
The party at the stadium must have a really early start time. It's not yet 5 p.m. yet and some folks are arriving. It's not black tie but apparently it is pretty dressy. You don't often see floor length sequin gowns in Seattle. I just saw a couple walking across the parking lot - he had on a suit and was carrying a bag (paper shopping bag). She had on the floor length sequin gown which looked really really good on her. She also had on black sneakers. Yes. I promise. I do hope he had her delicate fancy pumps in that bag. But, maybe not... Seattle is such a wonderful place.
