Brilliant - just slow

susandennisI've lived in this condominium for 10 years now. And for 10 years, I've hated the closet doors. They are the kind that slide from side to side. I have never seen the entire inside of any of my closets. I hate those damn sliding doors. Several years ago there was a contractor around who was working on one of the other units and on his truck it said 'no household job too small' so I asked him to come in and look at my doors and see what could be done.
He recommended bi-folds and lights in the closet and said he'd get back to me with an estimate. I guess I did find a job too small. Never heard from him again.
But, with Summer television full of reality shows and rerunds, I've been spending way too much TIVO space on HGTV and was watching a room makeover show tonight when the lightbulb finally lit.
Take the doors off and replace with curtains! Duh!!! It took me about 20 minutes to figure out several hanging possibilities and the fabric yardage needed. I'm off to the fabric outlet tomorrow - I'll be there at 11 when the doors open.
And yes, there will be before and after pix.
