What in godsname possessed me today, I do not know but I'm looking for a vacine against it now. I went out. I went across the way to the International District to check out the festival. It is 400 degrees out there - I mean hot. And some of those fools were sitting in the sun. Holey moley. There were a gazillion people and not a hint of a breeze. Did I mention it was hot? I crawled back home where, fortunately, I had left the air conditioning on. I did take pictures - later. It will take me a couple of hours to cool down. Until then, just talk amongst yourselves.

I am looking forward to the pictures. I just talked to someone yesterday from Portland, OR and he said it was hot there too. Unreal. I have never been there in summer when it was really hot!! Some summer you are having. It's always hot here in the summer. I keep my house a nice cool 71 though.

It's hot here, too. Not quite 400 degrees, but close to 90!

Me too

I'm getting scared at my intolerance of the heat. I mean...is it related to getting, um, well....getting OLD or something? I never remember being like so wierded about heat. And my husband works outside as a landscaper...so I get no sympathy there. But I really don't like being outside in the warm weather at all. I go from air conditioned car, to air conditioned house. The only time I like it is when the air conditioning is like freezing at work....and you have to walk outside to warm up.

93 here and we've had humidity ALL week. (a rarity)
I'm not going out until sundown.
I'm so envious of those with a pool.

Dare I say . . .
