susandennisSo Joy has her webcam on again today and after yesterday's cook fest, today she is getting her Halloween candy ready and decorating. I cannot believe how much energy and creativity she has! Not that I want any Halloween directorations and the only candy she mentioned was Mounds and I do not do coconut under any circumstances, but she's just so up and doing stuff.
And then I remember maybe it was even last weekend. My ass was on the couch and I was vegging out watching TV and she sent me an email about checking out my cam and being so impressed with my productivity. Productivity??!! I was sitting on my butt watching TV. Ok I was knitting but that was just my excuse for not doing anything else! It cracked me up.
I think I'm going to cancel the Dell order for the new computer. I know I'm going to try. I was going over the ads from this morning's paper and realized what a dumb thing it was to order from Dell to start with. I don't need or want any of the Dell stuff. I just want the hardware - and really only the CPU - don't want their monitor, keyboard or mouse. And I don't want their operating system, their help system, their office bundle or any of the rest of it. What was I thinking???? Their sales people aren't open until tomorrow and I hope they aren't taking tomorrow for Columbus Day. Once I get the order canceled, I think I'll pop over to a local shop and get them to build me what I want. Fastest processor, big, fat harddrive, LOTS of ram, etc.
I'm supposed to go back to the dentist tomorrow so he can check on his handiwork. I haven't decided if I'm going to or not. Since I've gone this far it would be silly to skip the last step. But, I really don't want to step into the place again. And I don't want to hear them tell me I should come back for a cleaning or any of their other torture. I may well decide tomorrow morning. I'm supposed to be there at 7:30 a.m.
