susandennisFirst of all, I would like to say that I am developing my annual case of snow-envy. This will last until the last of you report your snow has melted. I love snow. Love it, love it, love it. I lived in Minnesota for 18 months which I managed to spread over 2 winters and still did not get enough. We had 18 inches at my house in Seattle about 5 or 6 years ago and that's been about it since.
Good dinner tonight. We went to a new French restaurant. And, when I say new, I mean it opened last Saturday. They were very happy to have customers. I had fried chicken livers with pimento cheese and caesar salad with anchovie fritters. It was really really really good. And different. The chef came out and told me how he made the pimento cheese which was exceptional. I may have to try it.
We made reservations today for Thanksgiving dinner at a nice restaurant downtown. They serve it here at 'the home' but last year it was really not that good and we vowed to go somewhere else this year.
Now I am going to take my book and read. Mom is in bed and all is quiet for now.
