Big Day...

susandennisWe actually did stuff today! Mom has no where to sit in her house that is comfortable for her. She needs to keep her feet elevated a lot and there is a problem with all of her options.
Her recliner makes her neck hurt and legs sore. Her favorite chair by the table has no good footstool option. The couch in the den has a table for her feet but it's hard on her heels.
She needs to toss out the recliner (which is a double love seat deal) and replace it with a chair and ottoman. We've been discussing this for two years now. Everytime I come I say 'let's go look at and try some chair options'... We never do.
Today we did! We actually went to three different places! It was a record for activity!! We found good options at two different places and came home with fabric swatches which we'll discuss when she wakes up from her nap.

estis and the joyofmacs cooking shows! I think it's the first time I've seen Joy's new haircut. Nice!
Oh and Amazon sent me a note that the Six Feet Under first year set is now available for pre-order... $80. I'm thinking that I will probably wait until someone has a used copy for sale.
And, from Charleston, SC... where there is not the first flake of snow, that is the end of the report for now.
