Thanksgiving

susandennisMom and I watched the Macy's Parade here which was fun. She reminded me of the 1st Macy's Parade I attended at age 8 months. We lived in Brooklyn. We moved to New Jersey shortly after that and then Iowa and then Missouri and then North Carolina. When I was in college, Mother and Daddy moved to Manhattan. I'd come home from college at Thanksgiving. Daddy and I were the only ones who cared about the Macy's parade and we would go. On the way home we'd compare the bloody mary's at selected bars. It was fun.
After the parade Mom and I went downtown to a very elegant restaurant for dinner. It was just wonderful. Mom got turkey and all the stuff she wanted and I got veal which is just about illegal in Seattle. It was heavenly.
Now she is napping and I'm futzing. Nice day. Home tomorrow. Yahoo!!!! I leave about mid-afternoon and get home about 11ish Seattle time.
