susandennisNot only do I not get snow like all my friends, I have now lost access to the snow cams!!! I watched western Pennsylvania this morning until Tom turned it off... the meany. But now I can't get Joy's. I only know she has pink snow cause I read her comments. I feel so... so... so... underprivileged.
The Dickwad that is my mortgage broker sent me a fax this morning. He said he will refund the cost of my appraisal and, if for some reason this current deal does not go through, he will pursue another and absorb the cost of the loan. I would think that this was pretty gracious except he has, so far, never done anything he said he would. So I think I'll wait and see.
We have a possible situation at work. A new executive that we'll call Mr. Important. This new executive has been here now for about six weeks and so far I have been pretty substantially under whelmed. He came by my desk today and spouted a bunch of corporate speak and then asked for my support and attendance at a meeting. "That make sense to you?" he asked? And I answered "well, you used a lot of non-specific terms so I'm not sure I understand what you really mean, but I'm happy to attend your meeting." My bobble head days are over.
Anyway, then Mr. Important said that he wanted to spend some time with me to understand what it is I do. I said fine. It's not real clear whether or not my manager - still out on maternity leave - reports to this jerk or not. And I do like my commute, my salary and my Friday afternoon's off....
So in 45 minutes I have to sit down with Mr. Important and justify my existence. Unless, of course, he has an emergency and has to postpone which I'm pretty sure he will. Otherwise, how can he be sure I know exactly how important he is????
No attitude here... well nothing that a dump of snow wouldn't fix...
