Fame and Accomplishment

susandennisYes I am a happy flunky but I just found out that one of my high school chums is a big fucking shot!
The summer I was 15, I went to a Speech Camp at Wake Forest University and spent the summer learning really good communications skills. It was tremendous fun and I met some very special people there. We weren't special then, but several of those kids grew up to be extraordinary.
One of them was Karen Jorgenson. I ran into her in the early 70's when she worked across the hall from my husband at the time at the Charlotte newspapers.
Anyway, I found out today that she is the big honcho, THE editor, the top dog and has been for some time at USA Today. I love that.
