Saturday morning nice

susandennisI needed hair stuff and a few groceries and that's it so I got out early and went to the closest place with a grocery store with nearby drug store. I scored big at the grocery store. I love Diet Dr. Pepper - 2 liter bottles. It's very hard to find in quantity. When I moved to Seattle 10 years ago it was impossible to find at all. Today I got to the store just after the delivery guy had loaded up. Score. The stuff keeps, you know. I now have a supply.
My constant wig wearing is making my scalp dry and itchy and flakey which I don't quite understand but I do know needs fixing. So I thought a hot oil treatment would be nice. I think this is not a white people's thing. They had no scalp treatments at all and one hot oil treatment that was to condition hair. I don't care about my hair... It's my scalp. So over to the black people's hair stuff. Score again. Those folks understand. I got this great bottle of oil for scalp and skin. Just what I wanted. Came home, stuck the bottle in the micro to warm it up and plopped it on my head. Wrapped it in plastic and then a towel. Ahhhhhh
Bathroom rugs are in the washing machine. I think I'll go read my book for a bit. I'm kind of at the end. It's a mystery and I'm needed to know who done it. Plus, I got a new book in the mail yesterday that looks really interesting...
