If you are watching the Mariner game

Then you know they are having a bit of a power situation. We had a blink here at my house but not enough to turn anything off. Then another blink. Again, nothing off. Dave and Ron are saying the lights are out downtown but they are guessing wrong. Took 'em about 10 minutes to get to the 9/11 analogy... holey crimeny guys... shut up.

Nothing is out here, or across the street or in the football stadium or downtown. It's just at the baseball park.

Of course, the Mariners have the lead.

Sigh.

We were watching the game on ESPN when the lights went out. My immediate reaction was "What has susandennis done now; another web cam plugged in; a new electronic knitting machine, or just the vacuum cleaner???"

Now... you know me well enough to know I wouldn't be plugging in a vacuum cleaner but the web cam thing... highly possible! Alas, a truck hit a light pole... but on the other side of the stadium from me.

But I love that you guys were thinking of me when the lights went out... That's going to make me smile all day.

Well, the Mariners have been having something of a power outage for several weeks now, haven't they?
(Sorry, couldn't resist.)

I was watching the game. actually (intermittently, among West Wing reruns and the Oakland/Anaheim game), until it got too late in this time zone. It hurts to root for Texas against Seattle, but it has to be done.
