Cleaning house for visitors

So I keep my journal looking like it does mainly for me and the occassional 1st time visitor. It has links I use and colors that please moi. Since I figure most everyone reads my entries from their friends pages, I assumed my friends never saw it.

I just dropped a comment to melodysk and realized that... duh... with S2, everyone who comments is seeing my house journal the way I do! Hmmm maybe I need to get a decorator in here... I could set the comments to not see my style but that's no fun. Better to just clean house.

I think it's fairly new. I don't use it, because I like to see other styles - it fits the person - and no one on my friends list has done anything hideous with it yet, either. Just neat stuff.

Your journal layout is fine as it is - obviously it's not one I have chosen for my layout, but having said that, your's has nice colours, is not too bright (I hate the whiteness of the default comments), and is easy on the eyes. I like it when I can see people's layout in the comments section because generally I'm too lazy to go over to the journals themselves to check out how they look.

Excellent point - I actually do like seeing other ideas... And catching them in commenting is an easy way...
