It started out like all my experiences with doctors. I get there early, my appointment time goes on by and I'm there reading the world's oldest and crappiest magazines. (Can I just say, after perusing the lastest issue of Seventeen magazine that I am just so grateful not to be 17 that I could spit?)

They finally did come get me 15 minutes after my appointed time BUT both the nurse and the doctor appologized fairly profusely which kind of knocked my piss off a bit.

The doctor was young, but not Doogie-Houser young. He was really kind of hot in a I've-never-actually-been-naughty-before-will-you-show-me-how way. And he was very very nice. He took one look and said it was a cyst that was very easy to pop off.

He wouldn't do it today but said he would do it 1st thing Monday morning if that was ok with me. He said it would take 30 minutes. He'd pop it off, put in a couple of stitches and I'd have to come back in a week to get them out and that was it. He told me not to take asprin or some other stuff (I never take anything so that kind of went out the other ear), wash my hair that morning or the night before and that was it.

Oh he asked me if I had music I like to bring in the CD. I allowed as how I thought it was a good idea to let the guy with the knife pick the music.

And turns out first thing Monday is 9:45 but I can live with that.

I totally forgot to ask how much. But, while I was reading Seventeen magazine I heard the receptionist sending someone to their website for directions so I think I'll go snag an email address there and write and ask. They did say that they would send the bill to my insurance and since it was surgery there would be no co pay. But, I'd still like to know how much.
