All of the antibiotic cream is out of my hair... heaven. It took four washings with Dawn dishwashing liquid and one with regular shampoo. Whew.

Jake is getting wise to the bathroom for meds. This morning he actually tried to make a break for it. I was impressed. He's still sneezing. I'm hoping this pink crap will fix him.

For some reason that is really making me crazy, my screen saver won't kick in at work. This is an easy way to lock my computer and it stopped working about a week ago and I can't get it to start again. I've changed the screen saver and the settings and I'm starting to get pissed. I don't care but a couple of the guys here get really antsy when they see unlocked computers so I do it to make them happy.

Years ago, I installed WetSock on my Mom's computer. It lines up weather icons (with pictures describing the weather and detail at a click) in her systray for as many places as she wants and she loves it. She can see at a quick glance if it's raining in Seattle, sunny in Dallas (where her cousin lives), hot in Jacksonville, raining in Exeter, etc. Next to email, it's probably the most fun her computer gives her. She likes to have all her cities in alphabetical order lined up just so.

This morning she sent a note that the PC Anywhere icon had gotten into the middle of her weather icons and when she tried to move it, it disappeared. She asked me to put it back. Of course, when she deleted it, she closed the program so I couldn't get in. I sent her a note and told her to reboot.

She sent me a note saying that everything was fine. The PC Anywhere icon was back and not in the middle of the weather and all was good. And then she went on and on about how wonderful rebooting is. It took me about 4 years to teach her how, why and when to reboot. She never turns her computer off. She still doesn't understand the concept of minimizing and maximizing and programs running, but by god, she's a great rebooter.

All is good.
