A new woman
Feb. 14th, 2003 04:39 pmIt's amazing how quickly a little retail therapy can wipe out a morning full of fuckchops. Nothing big at all.
A mirror on an acordian arm that is now artfully mounted on the wall in my bathroom so that I can now see the back of my head! For several years I worked on the 8th floor of a building that had a mirrored elevator. It was very handy for checking the back of my hair. Alas, I changed jobs and haven't seen the back of my head since ... until today. It's just a normal back of the head but I do like to keep tabs on it. And, now I can.
And I bought a new measuring cup - this one actually has measurements I can see! Three new t-shirts to sleep in. And I bought a few groceries.
Plus, I got home and checked work email because I promised these guys working on a project with me that I would. Nothing. Nobody out of control.
What a lovely way to start what is going to be a lovely weekend. Lovely.
