Better than Friday
Feb. 17th, 2003 09:52 amLast Friday, at work, there were two Fuckchops working my last nerve.
Fuckchop #2 made a mistake, owned up to it, apologized to me and has since been retitled. He is now just an OA (Occassional Asshole).
Fuckchop #1 is and remains a Fuckchop of the higest order - a passive aggressive intentinal Fuckchop. An email from him this morning nailed the diagnosis. Now that I have the details and confirmation, I can handle him.
So all is fine. Friday was a good learning experience. I am smarter. I am bitter about not getting any snow, but I am smarter than I was.
And Mom is feeling very much better. Turned out, I think, she was just afraid that she was having a stroke or heart attack or lung attack on a weekend by herself. She was married for 51 years and she and Daddy spent the last 15 together almost 24 hours a day. He died 3 and a half years ago. I think she's just not used to it yet and she just gets out of kilter. I think she got out of kilter this weekend.
Monday morning, as soon as she could get the doctor on the phone and get real help, she felt fine. Really fine. She's 80 years old with heart problems, blood flow problems, lung problems, TJM, arthritis and she misses sex. Not all the days can be good.
But she's better today.
