Cats...

Jake and Betty have been hard at work all week. I keep their toys in a little plastic crate in the hallway. Every night I pick up the toys and put them in the crate. It generally takes them most of the next day to get them out again. Tonight I came home and now they had moved the crate. How do they do that??? The red X is where the crate was before they moved it.

And Jake continues to love his teddies. Every night he claims his spot and uses them for snuggling. It never fails to amuse me. He wasn't particularly thrilled with the paparazzi photo but hey, when your cute, you have to put up with stuff.

Betty tried to get in on both shots but the window of opportunity shut before she could get her lipstick on and comb her hair.

takes all day for the cats to get out all there toys. Ha

Takes my dog about 5 minutes. I have toys from one end of the house to the other.

Not to mention how he ate all the cat dogs.

Who ever thought animals could create such a mess.

Yep, I used to be a neat freak. Owning a dog took care to that.

Cats not much help these days either.

Jake looks so sweet cuddled up to his teddies. And Miss Betty cracks me up.

Hmmmmm, I should try the crate for toys. The problem here is the dog snatches up the cat's toys and runs off and hides them. Being that he's a Peke, I don't think his litte flat face could get in a high enough crate to get to one of the cat toys.

That might work!

The cats did it

Pics of Jake and Betty are what got me into your LJ initially. Now I stay for the droll humor and regular kitty photo shoots.

We have 12 cats. None would bother with "cat toys" but they do wreak mayhem anyhow. One climbs to the top of our kitchen cabinets---a good ten feet up there---and knocks down glassware, baskets, whatever she can dislodge.
Another leaps the chasm at the top of the stairs, to a window ledge across the way, and makes a mess, and yowls.
They are all quite deranged in their own fashion.

My Aussie dog, in contrast, sheds hair and that's about it. And, knows exactly what to do when he hears the words, "Bad Cat!!"
They ain't sheep, but it's a herd...of something...

I've reloaded the page several times, and they don't appear. Something screwed up at this end, no doubt -- this happens occasionally, I have no idea why.
