susandennisI did manage to sneak out of work a little early. I went over to my manager and said 'I'm sneaking out early, ok?' And she said 'have a great weekend' and I was gone.
Home to TurboTax where I polished off this year's return in record time. The printing of the damn thing was about the most lengthly part of the process. I had the damn printer set on high quailty. So my file drawer now has a beautiful copy. I filed electronically so in 24 hours I can go get my DCN and then it's just waiting for the $300 refund.
I noticed a few little snafus with the computer - the most critical of which was that my webcam photos hadn't updated since 7 a.m. so I decided it was time for a reboot - it had been several weeks. Then it's setting up the cams again. I cannot find one single piece of webcam software that will run three cameras automatically. I have some good stuff but I have to set up each one individually with every reboot. And this time they just would get themselves situated. The ftp wouldn't ftp. The log said that they were unable to connect to the server. I could connect to the server but for some secret reason, they couldn't.
So I changed servers. So there! I moved the cam page and the cam images to another one of my servers and they are all now behaving themselves nicely.
But, this really made me late for the couch and my evening of TV viewing. I lost a good hour and a half screwing around with the computer. Oh well.
Tomorrow morning it's Costco. I have a long list. I shall be there when the doors open.
