Insult to Injury

As the Mariners get routed by Oakland this afternoon, my second least favorite sometimes commentator is on the air to pour salt in the wounds. In the last 5 minutes he has said:

"This time of year the averages will average out." and "The other team is trying, too."

And he's said both of these things twice in 5 minutes. May I please hurt him???????

Plus, I need MacDonald's to pull that commercial with the annoying shrieking mother.

It's bad enough that my entire season is going down the toilet but I have to be tortured in addition?????

Is that Morgan or Miller? They sound like the kinds of things Joe would say (and say, and say, and say).

You need to channel-surf between innings.

Oh I misled. Morgan and Miller are my very very least favorites. But, I was watching the local broadcast. The offender du jour was Dave Henderson. He was a great player but he sucks as an announcer.

I do try to surf at the commercials but it means I've got to drop the knitting and get the remote... it's not easy.
