I was going like gang busters until about 15 mins ago. Now I'm in my afternoon slide. It's ok, though. I got a ton of very good stuff done while I was still productive.

The other night on the Food Channel I heard that the favorite pizza topping in Australia is egg. No detail. Scrambled? Fried? Poached? I can't get a feel for this at all.

As it happens, a friend of mine who lives in New Zealand is in Sydney on business so I popped him an email about the egg pizza. He said that he'd never heard of it but he'd ask around at the office today (in Sydney), but meanwhile, he was eating breakfast in the hotel this morning and some Americans were there and they didn't know what passionfruit was. "Don't you have passionfruit???" he asks...

Ok, I'm not a fruit lover particularly. I have had passionfruit but can't say that I stumble over it at every turn in Seattle. I did a little poll here at the office and most have heard of it, most of them while on vacation in Hawaii. Someone said they carry it at the Japanese grocery nearby.

I sent him my passionfruit report and am waiting now to get details on this egg pizza thing.

It's still hot. I'm still not happy about it.

Well I wondered, so I figured others might, so why keep it to myself?

We are on a fruit kick around here. I have to make myself eat it for the most part. Rather have a tator tot!

I feel rather blah about pommegranates (sp) Too much work and mess.

For the most part our fruits are shipped to us before they are truly ripe.

Bring on the chocolate I say. hmmmm now theres an idea lets dip all the fruits in chocolate!

We have passionfruit here in the cornfields of Illinois, at the nicer grocery stores... I bought one once since I really really like Welch's passionfruit frozen juice concentrate stuff, but I had no idea how to eat it when I cut it open. It looked like snot. I'll stick to my frozen juice stuff.
