Industry on Parade
May. 3rd, 2003 10:05 amYears and years ago, there was a tv program called Industry on Parade. They would go into factories and show you how stuff was made. It was before color tv and I think the show as only 15 minutes long but it had a really distinct flavor. I was mesmorized. The announcer's clipped voice and the stacato music sticks with me after all these years.
This morning, I was industry on parade. I cleaned the bathrooms, I cleaned the kitchen. I organized the bedroom and I wrote emails to three people from whom I have not heard in a long time and have had on the brain recently. And it's only 10 a.m.!!
I'm going to scare this cold away. I hope.
The blow up Heinekens is gone this morning but the smaller, sadder, Miller Lite is hanging in. If I said it needs a blow job, I wouldn't be wrong but I would be forced to follow the remark up with something witty and I'm, frankly, out of wit at the moment. Check back later. I have some TV to watch right now.
