What a perfectly wonderful day.
May. 15th, 2003 04:43 pmI don't remember when I enjoyed one single day as much I am enjoying this one. All my chores are done. If I die while I'm gone, no one will be able to walk in here and with any veracity announce that I am a pig. My clothes are clean, my sheets are clean, my rugs are sucked. My halo of perfection is a little tight, however.
All the bills are paid and I even handled some work email. I've spent a good bit of the afternoon watching tv favorites and working on my afghan. As I type this, Seattle is beating Cleveland 3-0 and I don't have to leave for the airport until after the game.
Seattle runs a city bus out to the airport. I live in a perfect area for this. It is 3 blocks from here to the bus stop. There are two versions - express and local. Even the local only takes me 35 mins from here to the airport and costs me $1.50 and it runs by my stop about every 20 mins until about midnight and then about every 40 minutes all night long. At the airport, the bus stop is just outside the luggage claim area. It's incredibly convenient.
Back to the game...
