Not all bad

susandennisI sent my brother an email about the Mom sitch and as he sometimes is focused and sometimes not and sometimes freaks and sometimes not, I wasn't sure what kind of response I'd get if any. But, bless his heart, I got a full blown 'I'm there for you' answer complete with offers to help, call her a lot and run up here whenever he's needed (he's in Jacksonville, FL about 4 hours from here).
Meanwhile, she said she was going to bed about 30 minutes ago but I can hear the distinctive Tivo beep coming from her room. I've never heard that sound anywhere but in my own living room so it's funny to hear it here but I also love that she's playing with her new toy. Tivo beeps when it goes from thing to thing and thuds when you hit the wrong button. I heard lots of thuds before tonight but I'm mainly hearing beeps now. Beeps are good.
