Lunch with a view
Sep. 26th, 2003 05:05 pmMy swag vendor threw a come-see-our-shit luncheon/reception/meet-and-greet and I went. It was at a golf club about 15 minutes from here. I'd never been there before. The drive was like leaving my country and going to another one. Very surreal. A whole lotta trees. It was held at a golf club.
Oh and my car - bought new in 1999 - turned 5,000 miles. That alone was pretty exciting.
The lunch was good and I now have more highlighters than you can shake a stick at. It was a worthwhile thing even without the breathtaking views. My camera could not capture the amazingness of it.

And yes, Seattle looks teensy! The distance between Seattle and Bellevue is about 20 miles and I was about 25 miles away from both.
