A long, long time ago, I promised [livejournal.com profile] melodysk I'd give her a trip to a U.S. grocery store. Finally!

This is an upscale grocery - not huge but very nice. And, they had Peak Freens!! Three different kinds and I got all three. I haven't seen these anywhere in forever. Am munching on a shortbread right now. YUM!

Ok, here's the produce department....

Breakfast cereal

Mustard

Macaroni and cheese

Soft drinks

Water

And, for all you Brits... these are chips!

Fun, huh? Next time, the Japanese market.

you know, I've found there's not as many grocery stores in the us, or at least the areas i've seen, the idealized supermarkets I've been accustome too aren't the same. Down there, (from my experiences) most are replaced by walmarts that deal with food and merchandise... but it's cool to get a run through, I quite enjoy a trip in a large grocery store, it brings back memories.
In like grade 6 there was this one grocery store which was near and open 24 hours, every time i spent the night at this one friends, we always went for a late night shop of fun

well here they changed it, there no longer is any 24 hour ones in the city, mind you a 20 minute drive and theirs a few just in the outskirts

I dunno, you know I really really hate people..... (please note heavy sarcasm)

my own words, the more the merrier (don't mind my spelling, i had a late night and just woke up)
It's very seldom where I've removed a friend or said no to adding anyone, but there will usually be a reason, but yea seem cool, so of corse, you are added too.

Yay! I strive to keep my journal intersting, not just a place to rant about every little annoying thing that happens in my day-today activities. :-)

Fabulous, Susan. To my unpracticed eye it looks very much like one of our grocery stores. I like the relentless cheerfulness of the breakfast cereals - ours are much more sober sided. More, please.
