Yikes! I'm rich!
Jun. 26th, 2003 02:26 pmMy little $2K worth of stock at Ameritrade just toppled over $3K! Total economic recovery for everyone must be just around the corner.
This is the $2,000 I opened my Ameritrade account with in 1999. For the first year I bought and sold like I had real money. After that, I settled on four stocks, one of which went under.
Now I have 60 shares of Krispy Kreme, 9 shares of Federated Stores and 34 shares of Tivo (which went up 11% today...hmmmm). Over the past three years it has gotten up to $3,000 one time before. Mostly it's wallowed down around the $2k mark.
At close of market today the total was $3,025.53. ManoManachevitz, I better get crisp on those plans for when I get rich enough to retire...
