It's a coolish gray day out - finally!

I am not a telephone person... My landline at home is shared between telemarketers and DSL. My cellphone rings when someone calls the wrong number. My plan has the minimum number of minutes (300) and sometimes I use as much as 10% of that when I'm checking email.

At work, I'm the same. I can't ever remember how to get voicemail cause I rarely get messages. The few times my phone has rung, it scared the shit out of me.

But, I'm in the process of ordering a lot of stuff from this one vendor and he loves the phone. So finally today, I downloaded the manual for my desk phone so I could program his number in. Done. Whew.

Work today has been a bit of this and a little of that and then some more of this. I have three major projects going. They are all in various stages waiting for stuff from other people. So mainly I'm making lists for each one... What needs to be done. What's the next step... etc. etc.

I need a chef. I found a couple of recipes this weekend of stuff that sounded good. Both are freezeable kind of casserole-ie kinds of things. Neither looks difficult but both involved more work than I'm interested in doing in the kitchen. So I need someone to make them up for me. I used to have a friend who always said this was her dream job. We would talk about it a lot. How it would work, how she would price it, etc. But, we always hit a snag when it came to how to market the thing.

Snags still there. I'm sure there are more than a few people out there - probably very near here - who would gladly cook my stuff for pay. I have no idea how to find them. Yeah, I'll google for chefs, etc. But, what I'd love to find is the person who just likes to cook on the side for cash and is willing to do up the silly recipes I find.

Oy, now I'm hungry and that's because it's lunch time... later!

There are places like Lucky Palate (http://luckypalate.com/) That deliver food weekly. Or you could get a personal chef, look up "Home Chef" in google nd they have plenty of listings.

I like to make casseroles, have some than freeze the rest in smaller portions.

I'd offer of course, were I not way down here in California. Does your cleaning lady cook?

I'm having culinary difficulties now since Friday night. I need a new microwave. Soon. I'm a fairly good cook, but I heated up some left over navy bean soup for lunch on the stove simmering, and by the time I went to check on it, the bottom had stuck to the bottom of the pan. Duh. Been so long since I've re-heated anything I'd forgotten.

I don't have that problem with a microwave. Time it, push the touchpad and it turns off when it's done.

All you do is go find a bunch of graphics - steal 'em from me, if you want... put them on your web server and then point to them just like you do with a photograh.
