It's a TWO WooHoo Day!!

Remember way back about six weeks ago when, upon learning that I was still not going to get any kind of pay increase at all, I proposed Fridays off instead?

(Supposedly no one is getting any increase until we hit profitability but I suspect the reality is different and I haven't seen one dime more than the salary in my original offer letter which isn't a bad salary but it's the principle, you understand...)

Well, as part of that whole original deal, I now have one-on-one meetings with my manager every two weeks. She said that she had floated the Friday deal to the executives who were considering it. So at every one-on-one meeting I ask her 'so any word on Fridays?' Today she said that it wasn't looking good. She gave me their reasons which were so much wah wah wah wah... And then she said 'but, we can work it out..' and I said 'work from home?' and she said 'yes, exactly'.

Soooo, I will be "working from home" on Fridays from now on. As far as I'm concerned I'm now working a 4 day week. Yahooo!!!
