Sunday Morning
Mar. 31st, 2002 09:07 amI got my first journal comment! I had kind of been operating under the assumption that no one was readying this but me. But, in addition to the comment, yesterday I found on my website statistics report that someone had checked out my webcam from the Live Journal website. You'd think I'd be less surprised. I've had a website for years (7 actually) and generally have about 500 or so visitors a day. I get email from less than 1% of those people. The rest are just drive-bys that I'd never know about if I didn't check my statistics.
Plus, I've spent a fair amount of time reading other journals here and never left a comment or any indication that I'd been there. Mainly I marvel at the youth of everyone and at the beautiful display of some of these journals. (I am going to have to dress mine up a bit, it's so standard.) Had I had this kind of resource when I was in my teens and twenties, I would have been totally addicted. What a great place to talk, explore, vent and rant. I could have really used that. Heck, I use it now!
