Menapausal Mumblings

I started my period when I was 12. I was so regular that the atomic clock in Denver used me for QA. And it was painless. 2/3 days max. Nothing heavy, mild cramps if any. Until about 51. Then I'd skip several months and think - ahhhh, I'm done. But no. I quit buying giant boxes of Tampax and went for the 10 thinking each box was my last. Finally last year, it stopped. Whew. I was done.
Until last month. WTF? I was 12 again. And now today again.
It's hard to complain. I've had no hot flashes. I've always been a wild and crazy bitch so there was no detectable attitude change. I didn't do the 'hormone, no hormone' debate because there was no need. I mean pretty much the whole menapause thing has been a nothing burger in my case.
So, I'll just buy another box of 10 Tampax and count my blessings.
