Futzy Morning

Today's day off has, so far, been perfect. I had one business call this morning that was dispatched in 5 mins by 6:30 a.m. Since then I have handled one other item via email and the rest of the day has been mine. Lovely.

I got my new walking tape. It's faster than the other one. It's supposed to be one step faster but it sure seemed like speed walking to me. I went all the way to the end of side one and it took me a lot farther than before. I may have to rotate these two and work my way up to faster. This morning I did the waterfront and it was foggy and darkish but nice and still not as cool as it needs to be to make moi happy!

Then back home for computer futzing. I made more puzzles. They aren't up yet - melodysk - because I'm still waiting for one permission. I'm sure he's going to say ok, but unless someone has said 'you don't need to ask' or 'use any pictures of mine', I'm asking to just make sure.

I made a new web page for Mom with some computer tips of stuff she can't remember but hates to keep asking. She's happy.

Jake and Betty spent much of this morning playing with toys, playing with rugs, chasing each other and just generally being busy. Jake has lost a lot of weight in the past year. His energy level is fine and he's eating like he always has. I think Betty's just burning the fat off of him. Now they are resting. joyofmacs requested photos and here they are for her.

Jake went back to bed. He's serious about this resting thing.


Betty has the living room under surveillance. She's afraid she'll miss something if she's not there to watch.

The quilt is a duvet cover I bought at Linens n Things last Spring. It was way too expensive, I thought at the time, but I have loved it so much and still do. It just makes me sleep with a smile.

Jake left his dear Teddies in Betty's custody while he went back to bed?

Last night, he got down off the teddies and went to get a drink of water. The minute he left she hopped up and claimed the bears. It was hilarious. I was not fast enough with the camera. He came back and hijinx ensued.
