I have not gotten a raise in more than 2 years - I am told that no one has. (And the woman who does the payroll says that's true.) But they are hiring right and left.
Today the CFO sent out a note explaining all the hiring. Well, trying to anyway. And justify is more like it. But the best bit is...
Email was sent around about each of the two new people who started last week. Today's note from the CFO gave the new sales guy a completely different name that the one that was used in the email sent out by his manager on Tuesday. You gotta know that makes any new hire feel valued.
And the CFO note also said 'I also want to remind you about our employee referral bonus.' Ok, I've been there longer than he has and this is the first I have ever heard about this bonus.
