If you haven't seen
currawong's now famous phobia and phame entry, treat yourself. At the time I first read it, I could not think of a single brush with fame. I saw Joe Namuth (sp?) once and Candice Bergen once but those brushes were really nothing-burgers.
But, tonight I was reading People magazine and I remembered my Real Brush. I went to college with and graduated in the same class with Bill Macy. I made his costume for the Pirates of Penzance and a couple of other productions. And I have the yearbook to prove it. I totally forgot about him until I saw the movie Fargo. Since then, he's hard to miss.
I saw another guy who was in my class was on The Millionaire a couple of years ago. He never made it to the hot seat but I was glad to see he was alive. Last I had seen him was on the night of the first draft lottery. He won and disappeared immediately.
