Jun. 29th, 2003 09:50 amCheap sunglasses will never get lost, rarely get scratched, and - as I just proved - wash nicely and safely when left in a shirt pocket that is thrown into the machine.
Had I paid big money for these puppies they would have been gone, scratched or broken within minutes of my purchasing them about 10 years ago.

Date: 2003-06-29 06:43 pm (UTC)I had a cheap pair of sunglasses for 3 years. finally they broke. decided since I pay 300.00 for glasses, why not spend some good money for decent sunglasses.
I chose a pair of Nike shade (I love anything by Nike) $80.00.
the first pair where stepped on, the second pair was picked pocketed in New York City, bought a new pair at the sunglasses hut in rockefeller center. those fell off my head while riding the ski lift at vail, now I'm on my 4th pair, still have these. for now, thank g-d, already have my next ones picked out, Oakley's
